I heard something beautiful the other day that I wanted to share with you.

The essence of who we are is unchanging, and perfect.

Our feelings and emotions aren’t who we are. They are meant to come and go.

Most of our thoughts don’t even belong to us but are projections from others.

You are the perfect light that can change color based on the kind of filter that crosses your path.

You are the perfect light that can be obstructed by ego, fear, anger, jealousy, or a victim mentality.

You are the perfect light that can appear small because trauma told you to cover your light and only let a small light shine through.

You are the perfect light that others may choose to make dim by wearing sunglasses.

You are the perfect light that can be refracted by a prism to become a rainbow.

You are also the perfect light that illuminates darkness, not only for yourself, but for others.
