All About Time

I was going to write about the Lion’s Gate Portal (August 8th) and the power of intention but then I had a conversation with my Mom. She had a day that started in one direction and ended in another, to her benefit. It was like the stars aligned to bring her exactly what she needed.
She certainly couldn’t have planned it if she wanted to.
So where am I going with this?
This amazing picture shows us that timing is everything!

Holding an intention and wanting to manifest something we feel is important is great, but what if we left some wiggle room for Spirit and its perfect timing? What if we let go for a moment and considered that maybe we don’t always know what we need.
Sometimes, we are so set in our idea of what perfect looks like that we miss the opportunities and gifts brought to us.
Sometimes, we blind ourselves to how perfect we already are.
Here is a little gift for you, from A Course in Miracles… 
There is a light in you which cannot die; whose presence is so holy that the world is sanctified because of you. ²All things that live bring gifts to you, and offer them in gratitude and gladness at your feet. ³The scent of flowers is their gift to you. ⁴The waves bow down before you, and the trees extend their arms to shield you from the heat, and lay their leaves before you on the ground that you may walk in softness, while the wind sinks to a whisper round your holy head.
The light in you is what the universe longs to behold. ²All living things are still before you, for they recognize Who walks with you. ³The light you carry is their own. ⁴And thus they see in you their holiness, saluting you as savior and as God. ⁵Accept their reverence, for it is due to Holiness Itself, which walks with you, transforming in Its gentle light all things unto Its likeness and Its purity.
This is the way salvation works. ²As you step back, the light in you steps forward and encompasses the world.
